Safari float Wildlife Adventure

Description

Enjoy a relaxing and nature-filled experience on this half-day tour, guided by one of our expert bilingual naturalist guides. Just 25 minutes from La Fortuna, you’ll embark on a peaceful journey down the Peñas Blancas River, where the lush tropical flora and diverse Wildlife will take center stage.

As we gently float along the river through its 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), you’ll have the chance to spot a wide variety of animals, including sloths, monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, iguanas, and turtles, not to mention the vibrant world of tropical birds that call this area home.

At the end of the tour, we’ll welcome you into the warm and authentic kitchen of “Tita Yolanda,” where you’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Costa Rican snack: homemade tortilla, ripe plantain, fresh cheese, and freshly brewed coffee.

As a special touch, we’ll also visit a rustic station in our garden for a brief and fascinating explanation of the traditional chocolate-making process and the preparation of sugarcane juice — with tasty samples of both included.

This tour can be operated by raft or kayak.
